Question by jimorna: iPhone 3GS “Charging is not supported with this accessory”?
So i recently bought a pre-owned iPhone 3GS and it works 100%, the only problem is the “Charging is not supported with this accessory” error message.

It doesn’t come up when i have cables plugged in, but as soon as i unplug the USB cable it comes up. (non-jailbroken)

what can i do to prevent it?

itunes wont be able to do that, since it allows syncing just one way (pc to ipod). you need a 3rd party software to transfer from ipod to pc. i use imtoo ipod computer transfer, works real well. and i was able to salvage my ipod contents when my computer crashed! real lifesaver highly recommended.

Your library remains the same. You can simply use a new device to sync to the same library as the old. It will be easy, I guarantee it.

it will transfer (: its easy just plug it in and itunes will sync it as long as that computer is authorized by the account which the songs were purchased by. good luck!
